WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND
Fingers crossed the weather stays dry this weekend as there are lots of fantastic events all happening near you.
Weekend Long Events
Join Floods Tavern, St Ives as they host Shakespeare – A Night at Bar (d). In commemoration of the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death Momentum Theatre Company present this fantastic event full of fantastic scenes from some of the most famous plays including, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Running from Thursday 14th July – Saturday 16th July.
For something a bit different; step back in time and soak up the history at Wood Green Animal Shelter as they host The Viking Festival. With re-enactments, stalls, activities and much more it’s a great chance for all of the family to get involved.
Along with all of the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community.
Friday 15th July.
End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.
After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Market, for a range of homemade, home grown local produce, or visit Huntingdon Town for their Farmers Market.
Join St Ives Corn Exchange and Screen as they continue the Shakespearian theme by this month’s cinema showing of ‘Macbeth’. This 2015 adaptation of the great play shows Macbeth in a way you have never seen it before.

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market, St Ives Town for their Farmers Market.
Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource, or St Neots Common.
Help raise money for Hartford Junior School and support them by visiting their Summer Fair. With a tombola, homemade stalls, and much more. The children and adults are all bound to have fun.
Fancy trying your hand at tennis? What better opportunity to try than now, at Chatteris Tennis Club open day. All equipment is provided, and there will even be a tasty BBQ just to tempt you that little bit more.
Celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday with The Chamber Orchestra of St Ives concert this Saturday night. A night full of great music, one not to be missed.

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.
Hopefully the weather stays dry for this family friendly event at Coneygear Park. The Summer Gala is back again and promises to provided lots of entertainment from petting zoos, face painting, a playbus and free children activities, just to name a few.
