WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND
Enjoy a weekend full of great markets from the country market in St Ives to the French market in Huntingdon on Friday and Saturday or help raise money for charity with different events happening throughout the weekend.
Friday 15th April
Browse around St Ives Corn Exchange and enjoy this weeks Country Market.
Enjoy a taste of French Cuisine at this years French Market at Huntingdon. Enjoy sampling traditional food and see traditional products.
End your week by enjoying the great film that is The Martian, hosted by Screen St Ives, at The Corn Exchange. Follow the story of the astronaut stranded on Mars following a freak accident.
Saturday 16th April
Markets - Join St Ives for it's ever popular Farmers Market, where you can pick up lots of local produce including meets, pies, cheese, fresh cut flowers and much more.
For something a bit different to your normal markets you have the opportunity once again to visit Huntingdon's French Market as it is on for the second day.
Huntingdon Racecourse will be hosting Giant Boots, Car Boot Sale, so go along and grab a bargain.
After visiting the Farmers Market in St Ives pop into the Corn Exchange for Cinnabar Fair. A great opportunity to get out of the rain if those April showers hit or just to pick up an unusual something. When you have finished looking around treat yourself to a cup of tea in the coffee shop.
Help raise money for EACH Charity and support the residents of Earith and look around their village wide Yard Sale. A great chance to pick up a bargain. Maps will be available to help you find you way to the sales.
Introduce the children to nature or nurture their already keen minds by taking them down to The Wildlife Trust Countryside Centre, Ramsey Heights for 'Wildlife Watch'. For children aged between 6 and 12years.
Sunday 17th April
Car Boot Sales are happening today at – Huntingdon Racecourse, 10am – 2pm and Crystal Lakes, Fenstanton, 6.30am - 12pm.
The Burgess Hall are hosting a fantastic event to get you in the dancing mood and raise money for CARESCO Charity, (supporting the elderly and socially isolated). So join them for 'Charity Sunday Tea dance – with Moon and Stars' and enjoy an afternoon of ballroom, Latin and sequence dancing with an afternoon tea.
Enjoy an afternoon of story telling from local writers at St Ives Corn Exchange, as they host 'Telling it in the Afternoon'.
