A care home in Brough is opening its doors for a fun-filled fair fuelled by music, animals and games.

On Saturday 4th July, from 10.30am-2.30pm, Care UK’s Primrose House, on Bluebird Way, will be hosting a day packed with live music, over 20 artisan stalls and fun activities for all ages.

Visitors can look forward to dancing the afternoon away with tunes from local singer John Roberts, as well as the opportunity to meet and interact with a flock of birds brought along by Owl Encounters. Animal-lovers will be able to get up and close with the owls and learn more about the wide-eyed creatures.

There will be plenty of classic fair favourites, including hook-a-duck and tombola, with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Visitors will also be able to browse and shop at over 20 artisan stalls throughout the day, including crochet and jewellery stalls, while enjoying refreshments from The Little Butty Van and a coffee van serving specialty drinks.

Braiden Brettell, Home Manager at Primrose House, said: “We’re excited to welcome the local community to our summer fair. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a sunny afternoon together, with something to delight visitors of all ages.

“Our fairs are always enjoyed by the local community, so the team has been hard at work to organise another event to remember. We hope to see lots of families, friends and neighbours come along to share in the fun.”
