What is lurking in your pillow?

You may want to clean your pillow more regularly or replace them more frequently because pillows aren't just packed with feathers:

  • Pillows absorb sweat and bodily fluids such as saliva and are an ideal home for bacteria.
  • It is recommended that you wash your pillows once every three months on a delicate cycle or take them to the dry cleaners.
  • Allergy sufferers should choose synthetic pillows over feather ones and fit them with anti-allergen covers.
  • Mold and bacteria breed in warm moist conditions - pillows are ideal breeding grounds.
  • Did you know there are up to 100,000 dust mites living in your pillow?

So when was the last time you replaced your pillow?
