Always time for tea – Haywards Heath care home is opening its doors for community coffee morning

A care home in Haywards Heath is inviting people to come together over coffee and cake while raising money for a worthy cause.

Care UK's Martlet Manor, on Butler’s Green Road, will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September from11am-12.30pm in its caféand garden. 

 

Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with plenty of delicious snacks to tuck into. 

 

There will be a selection of homemade treats prepared by the home's head chef, including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity. 

 

Sarah Barrett, Home Manager at Martlet Manor, added: We are delighted to be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning and supporting such an important cause. 

 

It’s lovely to put on events like this as they’rea great way to bring people together, create new connections and strengthen links within the local community. We're also excited to welcome guests to our ca, which is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, a slice of cake and great company.
