Open House is MAMA's drop-in group for all ages and has good changing facilities and an adjacent public car park. You don't have to be a MAMA member to attend and your first visit is free of charge.
Open House offers a wide range of toys and games and has a noticeboard displaying forthcoming events. We also occasionally have groups such as Usborne books and fundraising cake stalls. From 11.30 we have storytime followed by singing to occupy the children whilst the toys are being put away.
The cost is £2.50 per parent/carer (£1.50 for members) no matter how many children, and includes a cup of tea or coffee for the adults and a drink and snack for the children.
Hitchin MAMA supports a membership of over 200 local mothers and carers. We run an active social programme, pre-school and baby groups, confidential support groups and offer post-natal illness counselling.
