Third Runway plans scrapped!!!
I am sure if you live in Hillingdon like I do you would have heard the good news...The third runway plans at Heathrow have been scrapped.
In 2007 we heard Heathrow wanted to extend; already the busiest airport in the world to build a third runway and consequently hundreds of local businesses and homes would need to be demolished to make way. Petition from Hillingdon council, businesses and locals have been gathered with the constant emphasis on 'Say NO'!!!
Several surveys took place against the expansion and the environmental impact the runway would have.
At last all the hard work has paid off due to the new government in the borough.
We should all be thankful for never giving up!!
