Hillingdon's plan to improve local roads

 

Hillingdon council have plans to improve town centres over the next few years and have already completed many projects so far.

The aim is to offer better facilities to local residents and to people who work in Hillingdon.

Yiewsley and West Drayton town centres are being updraded following feedback from residents. Repaving, carriageway surfaces, street furniture will be amongst some of the improvments.

Uxbridge Town centre's work has already been started. Improvments such as new paving, trees and benches are being installed. pavements are also being re-paved and being brought up to date.

Northwood has already seen a new zebra crossing , new car spaces and repairing pavements. Set to take place are further improvments including a 20mph zone and safer measures for pedestrians.

Ruislip has already seen trees planted, new benches and road widening.
