Hillingdon Council to offer free driving lessons

In a bid to improve the safety of Hillingdon's roads Hillingdon Council are offering FREE driving lessons to learner drivers.

There are 40 places available for young drivers aged 17-19 year olds who live in the Hillingdon Borough. The young drivers just need to claim their free lesson by signing up to the council's education and awareness programme. This will include attending a series of workshops first.

These sessions will launch in September and cover drivers issues such as Car insurance, theory tests and the dangers of drink driving.

Anyone who is interested or would like further information call the Council's road safety team on: 01895 556336 alternatively email: roadsafety@hillingdon.gov.uk by the 29th August.

To register your interest, or for more information, call the council's road safety team on 01895 556336 or email roadsafety@hillingdon.gov.uk by Friday 29 August. You must have a provisional licence before the workshops begin.
