The event brings together supporters, donors and friends of the charity for an evening inspired by Horne’s signature blend of wit and playful competition, with all proceeds going directly toward Care for Wild’s work rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting rhinos threatened by poaching and habitat loss.

Care for Wild’s UK arm raises funds for the charity’s anti-poaching, rescue and rehabilitation, and rewilding programme in South Africa. Guests will gather from 6pm atGarsingtonStudios, where Horne will join them for the evening’s celebrations.

Sir David Attenborough has long championed the cause of rhino conservation, pointing to the “mutual dependency” between rhinos and the wider ecosystems they inhabit as the reason habitat protection must go hand in hand with direct intervention.

The evening will also include a silent auction in support of the charity, with comedian, actor and broadcaster Michael Palin donating two signed books among the lots on offer.

Funds raised on the night will support Care for Wild’s ongoing conservation work, including the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured rhinos, anti-poaching efforts, and community-based conservation education.
