Guests will be treated to a delicious cup of hot cocoa, all while solving puzzles designed to encourage mindfulness and relaxation.
Residents will also team up with Lane End Primary school to help pupils solve more complex puzzles and riddles together.
Estelle Adriaans, Home Manager at Ridley Manor said: “We’re so excited to be opening our doors and welcoming the local community to join us for our hot cocoa and puzzle afternoon.
“Brain teasers and puzzles are incredibly beneficial for older people, especially those living with dementia. Our goal with this event is to bring people together through intergenerational activities that support mental and physical wellbeing, which is at the heart of what we do at Ridley Manor.
“We can’t wait for a day full of teamwork, laughter and connection – and hot cocoa!”
