Young Carers Bucks is part of Carers Bucks and supports children and young people in Buckinghamshire aged 6-18 years old who have a caring role.
Young carers are children and young people who care for someone in their own home who is ill, has a physical or mental disability, or drug or alcohol problem.
The Young Carer service aims to provide support, young carers clubs, signposting and other services, specialist group work, small group activities and by providing information.
Young carers can often be isolated and miss out on a childhood that the majority of children enjoy. Young Carers Bucks helps to empower young carers and provides a safe and listening environment for young carers to relax, have fun and meet friends.
