Sue Ryder celebrates its 60th anniversary this year and to celebrate we are offering people the chance to sponsor a maple, beech or hornbeam tree at the Sue Ryder Henley Woodland for £120.
According to the ratings on Trip Advisor the most popular eating place in central Henley is the Italian restaurant Villa Marina. They have received 128 reviews and their rating is 4 ½ out of 5. This got me thinking about what my favourite places are in Henley in 2013.
What makes a woman outstanding? Being a great neighbour? Or a fantastic friend? Maybe it is a tireless carer or someone who succeeds against all the odds, or simply someone who refuses to give in to adversity? We want to celebrate all of these women!

People in Henley will have the chance to continue the 2012 enthusiasm for sport when Henley Leisure Centre holds a ‘Be Inspired’ open day on Sunday 18 November.

Henley MP John Howell opened the first ever Sue Ryder shop in Henley this morning, Firday 2nd November. Despite the Sue Ryder Hospice being situated just 5 miles away at Nettlebed Sue Ryder have never had a charity shop in Henley. That is until today when their charity shop was opened in Duke Street.

Brakspear launched their fifth Henley Ale Trail with a reception at the Three Tuns, Marketplace on Wednesday lunchtime. The popular Ale Trail is enjoyed by hundreds of pub goers every summer.
