Hedgehog numbers are in decline! Join us for this fantastic event with lots of different activities and crafts on offer and learn what you can do to help hedgehogs. There may even be some rescued hedgehogs to meet! There is also a self-guided trail on offer to help you learn more about our spikey friends and you will earn a certificate. (10:30am - 3.30pm - turn up any time).

Come dressed as a pirate, (optional), and follow the trail to track down the clue cards, solve the mystery and claim a sweet treat! Find the pirates hiding in the courtyard to earn a certificate!

Join The Vikings of Middle England for a fabulous weekend of combat displays, a living history encampment, authentic recipes, traditional crafts, stalls and activities such as have-a-go at archery and strike you own coin. It promises to be educational, entertaining and extraordinary!
Join the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Entomological Society for their bug-tastic Insect Show, insect related displays and plant stalls. A guided butterfly walk will also take place (details nearer the time).
Join the Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and the Countryside Service for this summer festival. The Lakeside Festival highlights the many aspects of the rich wildlife of the site, and also includes other invited organisations with similar aims to help animals, wildlife and the natural world. Stalls and small fair rides too.
