Join us for a family friendly day out in the beautiful surroundings of Kedleston for a fantastic cause.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is bringing back the Great British Dog Walk to Kedleston and everybody is welcome!
Join the Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and the Countryside Service for this summer festival. The Lakeside Festival highlights the many aspects of the rich wildlife of the site, and also includes other invited organisations with similar aims to help animals, wildlife and the natural world. Stalls and small fair rides too.
Support Guide Dogs in your local area and enjoy a great day out for all the family. With demonstrations of dog agility, heel work to music and dog cross-country running. There’ll also be entertainers and various stalls selling a range of goods, crafts and treats. Turn up any time!
During the school summer holidays there will be a different self-led activity each week, (a trail, treasure hunt with a difference etc.), so make time for fun with the family in the fresh air. Return to the Visitor Centre to receive a certificate.
Length: 1-2 miles.
Cost: £1 per child. Parking charges apply.
Join the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Entomological Society for their bug-tastic Insect Show, insect related displays and plant stalls. A guided butterfly walk will also take place (details nearer the time).
