Emily has been working for Optivo housing association for the past six months. As her contract came to an end on Friday, the staff organised a tea party for Emily & all the residents at the Orangery in Bexhill.

Little Gate Farm is participating in the The Big Give Christmas Challenge this year, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign which last year raised over £11.3 million for over 500 participating charities.

Holly started at Little Gate Farm (LGF) when she was 19 years old. The work trainee program offers learning disabled & autistic adults the opportunity to gain new skills, work experience & to grow in confidence.

Oliver has been working at Ashdown Hurrey Accountants as a book keeper for over a year now. He started his paid job with the support of a job coach from Little Gate Farm & now works independently. It quickly began evident than Oliver is a skilled & capable man who wasn’t going to let his disability stand in his way.

Working with the NHS started on Tuesday 10th April 2018. Three trainees did two ‘work taster’ sessions over two weeks and then they went on to do a block of 7 weeks work experience completing longer sessions on two days per week. Initially LGF had concentrated on the two areas, namely, catering and housekeeping.
