Elmgrove Middle has three classes in each year group covering the 8 to 12 year old age range (years 4, 5, 6 and 7). At present the school roll is approximately 300 with up to 82 children in each year group. We are situated in the Wealdstone and Kenton border area of the London Borough of Harrow. The school is predominantly single storey with four upstairs rooms. All classes have self-contained teaching areas, some having shared resource areas too. The school is set in extensive grounds bordering Kenton Recreation Ground.\rThe school has been adapted and resourced as a mainstream school for physically impaired children who cannot attend their neighbourhood primary school. All children are in mixed ability classes, taught mainly by the class teacher, with increasing specialisation towards the older year groups. Support to class teachers is available from school-based teachers, Local Authority support services, learning assistants and parental involvement. All National Curriculum subjects
