X FACTOR COMES TO HARROGATE AGAIN!!

Following last years fantastic scoop of signing up the X Factor finalists to perform in Harrogate a week after their exit from the show, the management at the town's Viper Rooms nightclub have done it again. There is a double header  with KATIE WAISSEL and WAGNER  appearing on stage this Friday the 10th December . Tickets can be snaffled at www.facebook.com/l/3836e3aSjnUEIashTrLsOrU125A;www.theviperrooms.com

Following Sunday's eviction, both MARY BURKE (Tesco's finest!) will be appearing on the 17th December!

I have seen both TREYC and PAIJE at the Viper Rooms recently. Both events were beautifully organised and the Meet and Greets slickly done. Both acts were teriffic!!

So we are down to the last four and I have to say I called it! (see my prediction from a few weeks ago!!)......

My thoughts on the remaining contestants are as follows, but please let me have your comments and opinions:-

ONE DIRECTION     There is only one way these guys are heading and that is  in one direction to be the country's leading boy band, whether or not they win the competition. They are guaranteed in my view to be in the top 3 or 4 due to the avalanche of votes they will receive from the fairer sex.Not my cup of tea but thats no surprise.

TESCO MARY BYRNE   Is this part of Tesco's plot to rule the world? Seriously I had goosebumps in her first performance and she fully deserved her standing ovation and has done brilliantly....but Mary its time to check out while you're ahead darlin'

MATT CARDLE      When the competition started I thought this painter/decorator guy with the hat might be the favourite and his rendition of a Coldplay song was brilliant, but I think he has lost his way a little singing Britneys "Hit Me One More Time" and needs a big performance to reestablish himself.

PS Well. following Sundays performance Matt is back in the game. His rendition of the Roberta Flack classic "The First Time" stole the show!

The Moody Blues classic "Nights In White Satin" was another cracking performance by Matt. My female friends love him!

CHER LLOYD   Now we get to the business end! This doll-like girl is in my view the freshest talent in the current crop and her rendition of Shakespears Sisters "Stay" was utterly brilliant. She is the act I look forward most each week to seeing and is surely set for superstardom.

PS Another great performance from Cher on Saturday. I love her arrogance on stage. She knows she's got it in contrast to Rebecca who doesn't yet realise how good she is!

REBECCA FERGUSON     The best potential recording voice in the XFactor this season. She drips class and sophistication on stage and will be in my view one of the voices of the next decade. I do wish she would stop nodding at everything people say to her, but she still doesnt realize how good she is and thats kinda nice.

PS My this girl just gets better and better

So it is between Cher, Rebecca, Matt and One Direction for me in that order! Let me know if you agree or disagree!

Im not so sure about Cher winning but I reckon the final positions will be ......

1. Rebecca

2.One Direction

3. Matt

4. Cher    We shall see!!!!!   Anyway enjoy the remaining contestants at Harrogate's Viper Rooms (it is Harrogate's best night spot in my humble opinion) over the next couple of weeks and hopefully the Viper Rooms will do the same for next years competition.
