The X FACTOR HITS HARROGATE!!!

So is it to be Danyl, Lucy, the very strange but sweet Stacey or the terrible twins.....no surely not!

Yes, its the X Factor, the show that nearly everyone in the UK is talking about and one of the great things about Autumn and the early Winter months!

And...........in Harrogate we can now share in the X Factor carnival! In a terrific scoop, the fabulous Viper Rooms night club on Parliament Street, Harrogate have signed up the departed X Factor finalists who will be appearing live on stage only a matter of days after their sad swansong on the X Factor TV show.

First up on the 30th October is the Scottish guy with the strange hats and weird eyebrow....Rikki Loney. He wasn't my cup of Irn Bru but the lad could sing else he wouldn't have made it to the final group!

Following Rikki on the 6th November is Miss Frank. I liked them and was sad to see them go, but not half as much as Louis who must have been gutted as out of his three group choices he's now left with Dick and Dom, sorry ...John and Edward.

Miss Frank were different but not "together" enough but I'm sure they'll be great live.

Monday 2nd November

So now we know, and what a shock!! For my money, Rachel's was the best performance on Saturday and she just didn't deserve to go home....but hey, the public will be clamouring for tickets to see her at the Viper Rooms shortly!

The terrible twins survive another week and Simon is getting a little worried the final will be beckoning for them. They crucified Queen's "We Will Rock You" and Freddie will be turning in his grave!

Danyl had to rely on the sympathy vote this week as his was the worst start to a song in the series but he managed to pull it round. He needs to get his confidence back soon and stop sulking.

Olly quietly keeps on impressing and I loved the Rock Chick performance and look from Lucy. Strange song choice from Stacey (Keane's "Only You Know") Only she knows why she chose it! Jamie Afro sang like well, Jamie Afro and sang his rocks off.Joe continued being pleasantly boring and Little Lloyd still looks like a rabbit in the headlights and owes his survival to Simon taking it to deadlock. Rachel couldnt stack up enough votes against Lloyds legions of adoring teenage girl fans so she was doomed!

Finally what the flip was Cheryl wearing on Saturday night??

On to next week. Don't forget to book tickets for Miss Frank at the Viper Rooms on the 6th November! See our Events page for full details.

More next week!!
