Entertaining the children can sometimes be hard.  More and more companies are offering different and exciting activities to help you keep them entertained.

One such company is Treetopnets, next to Lightwater Valley, near Ripon.  Children can climb trees safely by going through specially designed nets.  These nets also act as giant trampolines.  They can go through several tunnels and play with giant balls and enjoy some great views as well as get plenty of exercise and fresh air.  They also have one based in the Lakes.

Another interesting place to take the kids is the Camp Hill Estate where they can choose from footgolf, segways, quads, high ropes courses, zipwires, or play in the adventure playground as well as many other exciting activities.

Most of the National Trust properties also offer a ’50 Things to do before you are 11 and ¾’, you can sign up on the website and tick the list off as you go along.

So go out, and enjoy all these new and exciting outdoor adventures in and around Harrogate and if you are ever going further afield, why not look into Go Ape or Zipworld? Or plan a whole family adventure break?
