On the 23 June 2016 Great Britain has to decide whether or not we are to leave the European Union.

There has been a lot of debate online and on television about ‘Brexit’.

Sky TV has created the Eurometer, where you can take a quiz on how to plan your vote.

There has been scaremongering on both sides of the debate, the truth is no one really knows what the consequences of this decision will be.

By staying in the European Union, is it true that there will be more jobs, lower prices and a stronger future for Britain? Is it true that travelling around Europe will be very expensive with data roaming charges, visas and healthcare becoming an issue if we leave the EU?   With the American presidential elections on the horizon, is it safe for us to part with Europe now? Do the Europeans even want us to stay in, not according to this articleWhat are the implications for farmers, local businesses, tourism and more to find out more, why not go the the Harrogate Chamber Meeting on the 13th June?

Still undecided? Perhaps this article on the pro’s and con’s might help you -  it discusses how the referendum came about, the membership fee we pay, trade, investment, immigration, jobs and Britain’s place in the world.

Whatever you decision is, please don’t forget to vote!
