There's plenty of spooky shenanigans going on in Wetherby over Halloween and further afield bonfire night. thebestof Wetherby have taken the time out to provide you with a full list of events and activities in and around the local area.

Kicking off with a Halloween Catwalk at Stockeld Park on the 27th, where your little ones will be given the chance to show off their scariest costumes, the best outfit will win a goodie bag stuffed with Halloween treats to get you in the mood. There will also be face painting available at Stockeld Park, both of the events will continue until 4th November so that there's plenty of time for your child to get involved.

The annual 'Spooky Theatre in the Woods' returns again this year, an interactive journey through the spooky woods, ideal for those who are feeling brave as there will be scary surprises along the way. This is ideal for those with children who want to do something active this Halloween. There will be 16 performances between 27th & 28th October, so plenty of chance for you to catch one of these fantastic shows!

Everyone knows trick or treating is a huge part of the Halloween experience but if you fancy something sweet with a savoury edge then join in with Stockeld Park's Halloween Biscuit Decorating on October 29th and 30th. 

If that's not scared you enough Stockeld park are playing host to some very creepy visitors over the Halloween period! Live Creepy Creatures will be showcasing a host of Halloween crawlies such as spiders, snakes and scorpions.

Bringing an end to these spooktacular events is Stockeld Park's Fright Night. Those wanting a real scare this Halloween will love AtmostFEAR's Fright Night.

The first of these events is on 31st of October with the final show on 3rd November. Come in your scariest Halloween costume and let AlmostFEAR take you on a haunted walk through three terrifying settings, where characters lie in wait.

Stockeld Park is holding a night of spectacular fireworks! The peaceful, serene park will be rudely interrupted for one night in order for you to celebrate Bonfire Night. This yearly event is renowned for a sublime display of fireworks and is sure to take you into the otherwise dreary winter months with a bang!

Not only that but there will also be an ice-skating rink, Enchanted Forest walks, maze and even a cross-country skiing trial. Be sure not to miss it.
