The Harrogate International Festivals, which were created in 1966, have a great line up this year.  There are several events taking place all year round in the Harrogate district and further afield.

The Festivals offer cultural experiences for everyone, with great line ups from world renowned artists, as well that of local talent.

The Festivals include:

The Harrogate Festival (in July 2015) – here are just a few of the line ups on offer coming up…

The Crime Writing Festival (Old Peculier) 16th-19th July 2015

Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival (in July 2015)

History Festival (dates to be confirmed, but we assume October as per last year)

Sunday Series (dates to be confirmed, but we assume Jan-April 2016)

Salon North (year-round events) there are two events coming up:

Reach Out – (Year-round events) – delivering opportunities to disadvantaged young people in the area – specifically literature and music-making.

Children’s Festival (May to June)

Spiegeltent (May to June)

Fringe (May to June)

Autumn Series (September to October)

They also have the ‘Big Screen’ event where everyone can bring a picnic and a blanket to Open Air screenings of popular Hollywood blockbusters for free. Details for 2015 are yet to be published online.

There is something for everyone and with all that music, art and literature on offer it’d be a crime to miss out!
