This is the last weekend in September. Autumn has officially started and we are looking forward to the upcoming season of Halloween, Bonfire Nights and the countdown to (oh no, they said it!) Christmas....
There are a variety of events happening this weekend in and around Harrogate and the weather is supposed to be dry, have fun and enjoy the last few days of summer!
There are lot's of great events in and around Harrogate this weekend, maybe you'd like to do a walk for charity, or learn some of our history, or listen to poetry or even some great music, there's something for everyone.
Autumn is fast approaching, but you still have enough time to tick items off your summer 'wish list'. We are particularly excited about the Heritage Open days, a great opportunity to visit places that are usually closed to the public.
If you haven't already experienced this unique venue, then read all about this magical place in my blog. Hurry, you've only got till the 7th September before the Summer Adventure is over for 2015.
The end of the summer holidays are fast approaching. Many of the great attractions are coming to an end, but there is still time to have fun and make the most of the rest of the summer.

It's Afternoon Tea Week! Go check out the Mad Hatters tea party at RHS Harlow Carr, or why not go to the Urban Beach at Henshaws as part of 'feva'....
Wetherby and District Foodbank receives an amazing donation. We are open on Tuesday's and Fridays at Barleyfields Youth Centre in Wetherby.
Friends of Sandringham Park in Wetherby now have their plaque and stone placed in Sandringham Park. Friends of SandringhamPark have fundraiser for the cost of the stone and it being set in place.
There is plenty to do in and around Harrogate this summer. We are particularly excited about the Fairy Day at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough this weekend.
