HARLOW REFEREES CANT DENY THE GOAL SCORING OPPORTUNITY!

Harlow Referee's held their first ever open evening on Monday 27th September, supported by Esporta Health Club, Harlow. It was the first time any Essex Referee's Society has held such an event and simply opened their doors to potential new referee's.

"The event will be a great platform to build upon" said Chairman Terry Rackley.

For two hours the Committee presented, answered questions, offered equipment and supplies, demonstrated possible achievements and provided refreshments. The event was so successful, it was standing room only in the end.

Feedback from attendees included:

"Excellent experience and very impressed considering it was the first event"

"I learned things I never knew before. The evening has increased my knowledge and made me want to do it even more"

"We did not anticipate such a big turnout" said Karen Innes, Secretary of the HRA. "We now have 27 people who have actually registered for a course in Harlow, ranging from 14 years to 52 years of age."

"This event was again another first for the Harlow Referees Society. The attendance was overwhelming, which proves that Harlow still enjoys the beautiful game". said the Chairman, Terry Rackley.
