The Economist and The Economist Events will be holding our annual LGBT conference, Pride and Prejudice for a third time on May 24th 2018 starting with Hong Kong, then London and finally New York.

In 2016 we created Pride and Prejudice, our first 24-hour global event focusing on the significance of LGBT inclusion in all aspects of business and politics. Over the past two events we featured speakers and panellists such as the World Bank president, Jim Kim, the president of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, a CIA director, John Brennan, the chief executive of Lloyd's, Inga Beale, Sir Martin Sorrell of WPP and the prime minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.

The third edition of the event will take place on May 24th 2018 and once again, will be held in three different locations on the same day - starting with Hong Kong, then London and finally New York.

Chaired by senior editors from The Economist, next year’s gathering will again debate how governments, companies and individuals can become advocates, and help to improve the legal rights of LGBT people worldwide.Connect and network with over 200 leaders from the worlds of business, politics and society to address LGBT business issues head-on and bring the debate forward.

We are living in unpredictable times. Talk is cheap - it's time to act.
