Guildford Opera's production of the tragic love story of Aida, the enslaved princess of Ethiopia and Radames, the Egyptian general unfolds in this unique setting. Using evocative lighting the church is transformed into the Egyptian centre of the Lotus cult.
As usual, the opera is sung in English and accompanied by a chamber orchestra conducted by Lewis Gaston.
