Visit around 15 beautiful gardens in Shere 14th June 2026 On the afternoon of Sunday 14th June, between 1pm and 6pm, Shere - one of the most picturesque villages in Surrey, nestling at the foot of the North Downs between Guildford and Dorking – will be opening its garden gates and inviting visitors to view some of its most beautiful private gardens. There will be garden inspired installations around the village, a tempting plant sale, a Pimm’s stall run by the cricket club, and the parents of Shere School will serve homemade tea and cakes in the village hall. This is a not-for-profit event that helps to support local causes and charities.

Free Parking: provided (well signposted)

Public transport: Nearest rail station Gomshall.  Bus route 32 from Dorking or Guildford.

Refreshment: Teas served in the Village Hall and Pimm’s Stall by the stream

Tickets: on the day - adults £10, over 65’s £8, under 16’s are free or buy online at a discounted price – adults £9.
