Guildford Choral Presents: O Come, Emmanuel – Sacred Sounds from Advent to Christmas
Join us for a heartwarming evening of festive music, featuring Alan Bullard’s O Come, Emmanuel, well loved carols, and stunning solos by Milly Forrest (soprano) and Fraser Tannock (trumpet). The concert will be conducted by our Musical Director Jonathan Willcocks.
At the heart of the programme is Alan Bullard’s evocative O Come, Emmanuel – an Advent sequence weaving together seasonal hymns with choral and soprano settings of Christmas texts, from ancient scripture to modern poetry. This inspiring work will be complemented by a selection of popular carols for choir and audience to enjoy.
