It's that time of year again and Cards for Good Causes is a great way to support charities at Christmas and with such a wonderful choice of cards, there's something to suit everyone.

With Christmas cards from more than 25 national and local charities you are spoilt for choice. Of course it's not just Christmas cards! We also sell a range of Christmas goods, including advent calendars, Christmas wrapping paper and gift tags to help meet operating costs.

In the last five years charities have received over £20 million from their card sales through our outlets. To keep costs low - and returns to our Charities as high as possible - we sell cards from temporary shops in churches, libraries, community centres, tourist information centres and museums.

With charity donations in general being down right now and less Government help the money that charities receive through the sale of their Christmas cards will definitely make a difference this year.

We are the UK's largest multi-charity Christmas card organization with the most shops in the country. Our aims are simple to offer the widest choice of charity cards and keep raising as much money as possible each year for our charities. We sell cards on behalf of approximately 300 national and local charities in over 300 temporary shops across the UK.

Cards for Good Causes Limited (CFGC) pays the participating charities (or their trading subsiduaries) at least 75p in every pound from their card sales, less the VAT payable on the amount retained by CFGC. The retained amount covers CFGC's costs of running the temporary charity Christmas card shops.

In addition to these costs, the participants have to pay for the production and distribution of their cards.
