Home Instead South Bucks to create 30 new jobs

The South Bucks office of national award winning home care company, Home Instead Senior Care, is looking to recruit 30 more Caregivers in the next 12 months to assist them in meeting the increasing demand for at-home care for the elderly across the Buckinghamshire area.

Local businessman, Michael Lawson, who owns the business, says that demand for their service is incredibly high and that they now have opportunities available to work in High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and surrounding areas.

Commenting, Michael said: “Our Caregivers typically have some experience of care not necessarily working in care, so it could be someone who has looked after a friend or relative. We provide a full training programme and work is part-time so anyone who is interested in working in the sector should get in touch.”

Michael continued: “The way in which we operate is unique and this allows us to offer a different working environment for our Caregivers. For example, we match clients and Caregivers – we look for common areas of interest or life experience so that there is an immediate connection and a point of common interest.

“Care visits are of a minimum duration of 1 hour ensuring our clients receive the best quality of care whilst also providing our Caregivers with high levels of job satisfaction.”

Home Instead are keen to talk to local people with compassionate and caring natures who are interested in working with elderly people. Candidates don’t need to have experience in the care sector as they will receive excellent training, but they may well have experience looking after a relative or friend.

Home Instead are rapidly building a reputation as one of the UK’s leading at-home care companies. Their unique service is tailored to the needs of individual clients and ranges from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, medication reminders, shopping and errands. The service allows people to remain at home and lead a relatively independent life and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
