A real gem. Theatre Cap-a-Pie is one of those small theatres that really make you welcome. Located at The Store in the centre of Dipton, it is located right on the Gateshead border and in easy reach of Gateshead residents
Well renowned for its live music and small theatre productions, there is also a healthy eating cafe, which is the hub of this vibrant venue
As a centre, The Store, which given by its name, was converted from an old co-op store and dance hall. It hosts an eclectic mix of functions from theatre productions, youth theatre groups, live music, cafe and meeting rooms to workshops and collaboration with schools through their Emotional Intelligence and Healthy Living Consortium projects
Theatre Cap-a-Pie are also the Regional Agency for the young people's Arts Award in the North East, so at the centre of the North East arts community
