Only the bravest will survive a zombie apocalypse when the undead descend on the Forest of Dean this Halloween weekend.
A fight between Foresters and flesh-eating ghouls will break out at Battlesports in Longhope when it hosts a terrifying, live-action experience for the first time on Saturday. November 1
Organisers remain tight-about the finer details of the Dread Event but those who have paid a cool £60 to take part are guaranteed to be petrified.
Sarah Rossiter, owner of Battlesports at Holly Bush Farm, said: “We have a ready- made battlefield which is the ideal backdrop for this event.
“People will be running around with air soft guns shooting at zombies, so they should expected to be frightened.
It will not be as painful as paintball.
“The mission for each player will be to eradicate all of the zombies with rifles, pistols or whatever they can bring along.”
