Craig Saunders, Partner at Makinson & Company Accountants in Lydney offer the following very timely advice for those who pay tax by way of self assessement.
Self Assessment tax Payers need to file their returns by the 31st December 2012 if they would like to take advantage of coding the tax due for 2011/12 in their PAYE for 2012/13.
In effect this means that instead of having to pay tax due on the 31st January 2013 they wont have to start paying until April 2013 via PAYE and the final payment won't be taken until March 2014.
Now we are no experts here at the Best Of, but this seems worth noting if you are not already aware and of course taking appropriate advice.
