Fleet Jazz Club was founded in 2013 by Mike Rance and Sue Tilley who teamed up with musician, Marianne Windham with the aim of attracting top UK jazz musicians to Fleet.

Open to everyone, the Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at The Harlington and regularly attracts audiences of between 80 and 100 people – with special Christmas events playing to nearly 200 jazz enthusiasts -  these audience numbers are almost unique in Jazz circles, outside London!

Fleet Jazz Club has developed a growing reputation on the Jazz scene, attracting some of the top players in the country as well as an enthusiastic and growing fan base.

Mike Rance, Chairman of the Fleet Jazz Committee, said “We have had an enthusiastic audience since we first opened and, with the considerable help of Marianne, have been able to attract top artists to our town.  The first three years’ have been so well supported and we look forward to building on this success, with an exciting programme in 2016.”

This year Fleet Jazz Club are holding a Christmas concert on Friday 11 December featuring some of the finest names in the UK jazz scene. Sue Tilley, Jazz Club Committee Member said “What better way to get Christmas started then to relax and listen to great music while also supporting a local Club. Come and help us to celebrate our first three years!”
