A circular led walk exploring some of Kirkcaldy's woodlands and parks. Our route will take us along the Wizard's Walk, around Raith Lake, through Raith Woodlands, Craigarter Plantation, Rabbit Braes Community Park and Long Braes Plantation. Organised by Fife Out and About Walking Group as part of the Kirkcaldy Walking Festival.
Walk length: 6.5 to 7 miles
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Start / end location: Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy
Ability level: Best suited to walkers who are comfortable with undulating uneven ground.
Terrain: Undulating on paths (unsurfaced and uneven) and tracks. Some short sections on pavement/road. Could be muddy in places after heavy rain.
