Visitors can learn how personalities from Tudor times can be recreated at Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) on Tuesday 26 November in a demonstration and performance by history specialists, Past Pleasures. Meeting characters from a bygone age can be a powerful means of understanding the more personal details of history. Past Pleasures specialise in interpreting history through costumed character re-creation and they have recreated a character from RAMM's landmark Tudor exhibition, West Country to World's End, which celebrates the spirit of adventure and enterprise in the South West during the period. The afternoon event will allow visitors to find out how they have researched and constructed the personality and meet them in the gallery for a short performance. Running from 1 to 3pm, £6 tickets available online or from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum reception in person or by phone using a credit or debit card on 01392 265858 during opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5pm. Concessions are available.
