Bourne hall is a lovely place to take the children to feed the ducks, it is also near to the village, so if you want to have lunch there, the Spring public house is lovely for lunch or dinner.

My Grandson who is four years old loves Bourne Hall. He feeds the ducks of which there are many, which often follow him across the grass.
The café serves children's lunch boxes which are very good value for money, sandwiches, a piece of fruit, a yogurt, a packet of crisps, and a drink. He likes to sit in the big leather chairs and look at the art exhibitions on the surrounding walls.
The museum is also of great interest to him, along with wandering the corridors and looking to see if any of the classes are taking place. We have watched Zumba classes, art classes, Tai Chi and even blood donations.
The library has a great children's section and you can sit and read books as long as you wish.
Lovely place. !!!

My daughter booked the large downstairs hall for my grandson's birthday. The day was very well organised, plenty of soft play equipment, a break half way through the party for food ( this allowed for the equipment to be set up again for the second half of the party). The party organisers were very helpful and there was a cafe upstairs for drinks and snacks where parents could go and escape the party. Parking was reasonable and the grounds surrounding the hall pleasant. Worth a visit to take a picnic to the hall gardens and speak a relaxing afternoon.

My husband and I go just to visit the park, see the wild animals and feed the squirrels! You can also feed the ducks and swans and geese, but it's much more fun to hand-feed a grey squirrel with a monkey nut. Will always go there whenever we can get a hold of monkey nuts!

Set in the middle of the narrow, winding roads of Ewell Village, Bourne Hall is a lovely little park featuring a lake area with ducks, swans & geese, lots of trees with squirrels and and a function hall to boot.

Location isn't the most quiet, what with the main thoroughfare (if you can call it that) of Ewell village adjacent, but still a beautiful little oasis in a lovely little town.

Also, right now (as of March 2014), the lake area has overflown and the main road continues to be flooded as a result! Not sure if it's because of the recent wet weather or something else, but it's quite a spectacle watching a bus go over the water and literally create waves!!

Library is average for the area, but very quiet if you want to study/read.

Museum is good has recently been changed around, so new things to look at. It is upstairs, there is a small lift to access if you do not wish to use the stairs.

The ground and lake are excellent and generally very peaceful, often have lunch outside when I visit. There is a small cafe inside if you wish to use which has a selection of sandwiches, cakes and drinks etc. I have used the cafe many times and it is good and staff are friendly.

Loved our visit here. Part of Epsoms heritage. Costs nothing to walk in and take a look. Fascinating look at how it used to be in Epsom and how different it is now. Really worth a look. Plus changes all the time.

Not enough people take their children there to see some great exhibits in the small museum. The building itself would hold many kids interest

Good food and drink, though service a little slow. On the day I visited it was very busy with only one sitting area left. The library however seemed deserted.
