Having used the same dentist for 35 years I wanted to find someone local. I had my first appointment a week ago and immediately felt at ease with Alan. He explained everything to me and I had an extraction today. It went well thanks to Alan’s calming nature and I am booked in for more work in the coming weeks and not scared at all. So happy I found this place! Maybe relieved is a better word as I am a very nervous patient. All of the staff here make you feel so at ease too.

Could not recommend Alan and his lovely team highly enough! Going to the dentist is not usually an enjoyable experience, but everybody at the practice is very kind and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I discovered Alan by chance, and now I am completely converted - I would never dream of going anywhere else! Couldn’t be more happy with the results of my treatment. Huge thank you to Alan and team!

Lost a very old filling on New Years Eve, Google a dentist and found Alan Wilson.
Made an appointment online for the 2nd of Jan.
Saw Alan and his team, made me feel very relaxed, as I have never enjoyed going to the dentist.
Went back on the 4th for the work to be carried out.
I have to say I am so pleased to have found a dentist that I feel relaxed and comfortable with.
I will be continuing to use Alan from now on,

What an amazing dentist! After luckily winning a competition for teeth whitening treatment I was super excited to visit & see what my prize included. I was given their full teeth whitening at home package which is absolutely brilliant & really easy to use. As I was already having moulds for my teeth whitening trays I decided to get a mouth guard too. I can honestly say this is the best mouth guard I’ve ever had, I play hockey so need to be able to communicate with my team, many of my old mouth guards have made it almost impossible to do so but not the one from Alan Wilson! You also get to choose the colour :-)
Alan also noticed an ongoing issue I’d been having with one of my wisdom teeth, this had been causing me a lot of problems & I was on a very long & tedious waiting list with the NHS. Alan gave me some non biased advice & said to go away & think about my options. Suffice to say I came back a month later to have a scan & my tooth removed. The whole process was so unbelievably easy & quick & I’d even go as far as saying painless, due to the numbing gel they use. On this occasion getting a second opinion from Alan was well worth it! I would highly recommend this dentist.

I was referred to Alan Wilson by my dental practice as I needed my first implant and requested a dentist with extensive experience of this procedure. A friendly welcome at the surgery and the very comfortable modern surroundings set the tone, and Alan immediately put me at ease, talking me through the stages of the procedure from extraction to the fitting of the implant. Subsequently he kept me informed throughout the process of what each stage entailed. Unexpectedly I found the whole procedure pain free, including the initial extraction, and now I am very pleased to have a new implant which immediately fitted and colour matched perfectly, real state of the art dentistry.
Alan and his welcoming team could not have done more to make my experience stress free and I would have no qualms about any further procedures with Alan Wilson Dentistry.
