I am a landlord, and Michelle Hobbs has been very efficient at assisting me with the renewal of my property. She responds to any messages very quickly and provides an exceptional service. I also find that every time I speak to The Personal Agent lettings, they are always very polite, helpful and informative. I have used them for over 10 years and would not think about using any other company.

We went to Epsom Playhouse to see ‘Rocket Man’ (Elton John tribute act if you hadn’t guessed ! ). The tribute act was great but mixed feelings re our first visit to Epsom Playhouse.

Positives:-
Very good for parking as the Ashley Centre is very near-by.

Small theatre so viewing the stage shouldn’t be an issue

Quant seating upstairs in gallery type area.

The sound system and acoustics was very good for a theatre of this size.

Negatives:-
- The bar is quite small and therefore leads to a very long queue at the internal. Fair enough you can pre-order drinks many times you just want to a drink on impulse. This was not possible last night so I was unable to get my daughter a drink. There was a small soft drink vending machine but that only took coins. Perhaps they should upgrade that to a card ‘tap’ payment system?

- Comment linked to above but there seemed to be no where to purchase soft drinks, treats etc other than the bar and coin only vending machine. There was a small area selling ice creams, very small tubs at £4 each but other that that nothing else appeared available. Perhaps consider even getting more vending machines if space is an issue…?

- The seating in the stalls is quite cramped for taller people like myself. Perhaps consider taking out a row of seats to make the leg room better…?

Crowd ambience - We had a large party behind us that thought it was absolutely fine to chat to each other loudly during the event. I looked round more than once and indicated my annoyance but they seemed happy to continue with their discussions! They also seemed quite ‘well on’ so it seemed best not to discuss further with them. Also we didn’t want to move seats as they were no other blocks of 4 seats available near the stage and the view from the seats were good. There was also a large party of in the upper area that shouted loudly at times especially when the artist was speaking. I’m sure the staff do their best but perhaps they need to monitor the crowd more closely, particularly as the venue seems to a lot of tribute type events?

I suppose that behaviour has become a challenge for many theatres (particularly since Covid) and perhaps standards have also just changed through generations eg where it’s acceptable to get ‘bladdered’ first and then talk, shout during a show? Shame though for us that want to enjoy it though….

All that said the show was really enjoyable and the tribute artist amazing but sadly we probably won’t return to the Playhouse again. Not unless there are some significant improvements with the points mentioned and certainly better management of the audience.

Another visit to the Epsom Playhouse last night and another most enjoyable night
The “Elvis Years” did not disappoint, he may not have been the ideal Elvis but what a voice. All the favourites and a long show – we got our money’s worth. And not only Mario but his backing group – the two girls and the four guys, what talent. Thank You.
We never take all the very friendly volunteers and the backstage boys and girls for granted – we are so lucky to have the Epsom Playhouse.
It is such a friendly small and compact theatre with a great atmosphere, we know that the stars all love it (because they told us)
Long may it continue and thanks again to all concerned.

The Personal Agent Stoneleigh branch have a great team, who have provided me with excellent service. They quickly organised an open day for viewings and we had 3 good offers within days. Since then I have been kept up to date with progress, and we have now completed. Thanks to all at Personal Agent, especially Ben and Sam.

Great venue but loses a mark for selling Pepsi and otherwise warm drinks in the bar.

We viewed a property with Sarah and we were very impressed with the professionalism and attitude she showed.
We have also dealt with Samantha on the phone with bookings and questions and she is exactly the same.
Great work guys, keep it up!
