One of the most reassuring aspects of working with the Amber Group is that, as someone with no building experience myself, I've never felt we've been pushed into a more expensive or unnecessary option. There has always been a conversation about quality vs cost efficiency, and I've always been happy without the outcome. I've never felt I'd been fleeced, and the team have always taken the time to explain anything I didn't understand.

The Amber Group has been looking after this flat so well over the years.
Two weeks ago, when I went to turn on the central heating for the first time since last Spring, it didn't work.
Tom diagnosed the problem within about 10 minutes - the pump had packed up.
Then Kenny came along with two electric heaters (which meant I could take off a couple of layers of clothes!) and next day turned up with Paul with a new pump. The pump is situated in the most inaccessible place in the airing cupboard - but with great skill (and innovation), they removed the ex-pump and installed the new one.
Paul also gave some great tips about how I should use the boiler so that the new pump wouldn't seize up.
