First for Art is an inclusive exhibition group, created to ensure all styles of art can be displayed via our exhibitions. Our artists are professional painters, many experimenting with a different style from their norm.
By encouraging, sharing, and supporting each other, we find the art on exhibition is eclectic, well-priced, and presented to a high standard. We do not pre-judge the art; we aim to simply assist our artists in their creative journey. Alongside original art, we include a selection of prints and cards based on the artists’ original works, to offer a wider range of items for our exhibition visitors.
First for Art is returning to Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking for our Spring Exhibition. Supported by First for Art core members, the exhibition will feature art from new exhibiting artists. Visitors can browse and buy works from an eclectic collection of local contemporary artists.
This exhibition includes works from: Dale Sheen, Rue Stanley, Robert Hay, Richard Orr, Susan Sheen, Rachel Laving Taylor, Ester Rigo, Hannah Walker, and Grace Bulaitis.
The gallery is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm
Denbies has a popular art space, which offers a permanent in-house gallery on the first floor. There is ample free parking available, and refreshments can be purchased on-site.
