Sadly cancelled in 2020 due to Cornoavirus we welcome back this traditional village fair

Procession - Crowning and Fayre 


The Banstead Village May Fayre is an annual event which is organised by a group of parents who either live in Banstead or have strong connections to Banstead. The group is a non-profit making organisation and its sole purpose is to raise money for nominated charities. 

There will be a parade (which starts at 11.30 am ) of nearly 2,000 people , followed by by the crowning of the May Queen.There will also be stalls ,and various display teams.

11.30 am Procession starts at United Reformed Church, Woodmansterne Lane, passing along the High Street and arrives at the Orchard in front of All Saints' Parish Church.

12 noon [approx] Crowning of the May Queens, in The Orchard

  • Cake stall
  • Beer & Drinks Tent
  • Popcorn & Candy Floss
  • Plant Stall

 We are delighted that Redhill Corps of Drums have confirmed that they can attend the Fayre.
