Banstead District is in the Downs Heath Division of Girlguiding Surrey East; this covers Kingswood, Howell Hill, Nork, Tattenhams and others. We are a voluntary organisation with hundreds of members aged 5 right through to adulthood, part of the global Girlguiding Movement. Rainbows are either 5 or 6 years old. Brownies are between 7 and 10 years old. Guides are between 10 and 14 years old. Senior Section are aged between 14 and 25. Trefoil Guild is for any adults who have been members of Girlguiding in the past and who wish to continue to be involved – Banstead has its own branch of the Guild.
