FREE, drop-in service helping local people with employment advice, jobs fairs and support
On 27 January 2026, our Strategy & Resources Committee approved the ongoing delivery of the Epsom & Ewell Hub – ensuring this invaluable service can continue providing skills and career support for jobseekers in the borough.
Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership will continue to deliver this free, drop in service from Global House in the Ashley Centre, offering a range of services including:

📄 CV and interview guidance for those seeking jobs
🤝 Interpersonal and confidence-building skills
💻 Digital support – from using a mobile phone through to using Microsoft Office and more
🎯 Access to programmes such as Work Well – supporting adults with long term conditions back into employment; and Multiply – helping residents boost numeracy skills

Councillor Clive Woodbridge, Chair of the Community & Wellbeing Committee, said:

“We are extremely proud to continue supporting the Epsom & Ewell Hub, which has become an invaluable resource for residents taking positive steps towards work.
“The Hub’s strength lies in its holistic, people centred approach - helping individuals overcome both practical barriers to employment and the anxiety or low confidence that can often accompany time out of work. For many, challenges linked to education, confidence or personal circumstances can hinder progress, and the Hub provides exactly the support needed to move forward.”
