Anglican Parish church in Banstead

All Saints C of E Church Banstead

We are an Anglican parish within the Diocese of Guildford. Our lovely old church sits in the very centre of Banstead Village - where you see the Church Orchard on the High Street. You can visit our church hall which has The Orchard Pre-School and the Open Door Café, which is run by our friends of the Banstead Five Churches. We offer coffee, cakes and lunches Monday to Saturday 10am to 2pm.

So when you've had your coffee you can walk up to the church and come inside for a wander round. We try to keep the door open from 9am to 5pm most days.

Inside you will find a calm atmosphere. You can light a prayer candle for someone special and yourself. There is a guide and post cards. We are proud of our long history stretching back 1,300 years. Our church was founded in Anglo Saxon times with a mention in the Doomsday Book. It was visited by the medieval kings of England who stayed at the Banstead Manor. The famous Victorian architect, G.E.Street restored the church as you see it and William Morris provided one of the windows.

So come and see this very special place. We hope that you will enjoy what you find and maybe join us for our worship and events.
