Good range of shops with excellent independent toy shop Toy Barnhaus . Same it's currently closed due to Covid. They do sell products online.

The Ashley centre Epsom is a typical indoor shopping mall during the week it's quite busy until Saturday afternoon Sundays are usually quiet but not all shops are open so its a lot easier to get around and get your shopping done at a leisurely pace.

Car park at Ashley Centre is cheaper than parking at the hospital if you are at the hospital longer than 30 minutes.
