The building consists of a library, a cafe downstairs, and a museum on the first floor. Plenty of paid parking close by. Entry is free to the museum. Gives one a great insight into the history of Epsom and surrounding areas Closed on a Monday.

I haven’t been here in a long while. I used to go regularly in the 80s when I was doing my o level revision.

Here I am again doing the working from home bit. The place is spotless, nice and warm and there’s lashings of tea and delicious sandwiches and cakes available.

Librarians are very friendly and chatty too

Very pleasant experience, will be back.

This is a nice small cosy coffee shop in Ewell. It is attached to the library. I ordered a cheap biscuit here this afternoon. You must also eat the sandwiches and then have a soft drink. Recommended. It was worth every single penny. I will return.

ONE FOR THE ROAD 1780-1840

A superb exhibition about travelling by road in the years 1730 to 1840.
Historian and equestrian Caroline Baldock has researched extensively how people of that period took to the road, and has chosen fascinating exhibits to demonstrate what travelling by horse-drawn vehicles actually involved.
I highly recommend a visit.
May 20th 2022

me and my school went on a school trip to Bourne hall and it was very interesting besides I'm not a very history person but I liked it. It had lots of stuff like what people would wear in the 1970s and what was their norms/normal like public transport and what would men and women wear in sport like tennis which we saw. What I found amazing is that they had a bird eyes view of Epsom that was very detailed. It was very good we all enjoyed it as a evening out and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to know local history.

The Bourne Hall park is very pleasant. Green spaces for the children to run around on. Squirrels, ducks and other wildlife enjoy being fed and there are quite a few benches and a few outdoor exercise machines hidden away near the health centre.

Always liked this place and go there regularly with my 6 year old daughter. She loves the library and the museum section is interesting. Then there is the duck pond too. It is a bit of shame that the cafe isn't opening at the moment, or at least it hasn't been open on a Saturday of late.

My wife and I often walk to here all the way from West Ewell of road. This is our end of walk place. We fed the ducks and squirrels. The squirrels will usually eat out of hand if your patient

Bourne Hall is really on the up! It has loads of history (a museum too)… lovely walking routes (part of London loop)… a spring water pond (duck food can be bought in the post office)…plus some great events throughout the year! - it’s also close to four pubs!
