Wyrd Sisters is a play based on the Discworld novel by Terry Pratchett and adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs. It is a take on Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Hamlet (with many other Shakespearean nods besides) and tells the story of a wicked Duke and Duchess, who murder the King. The King’s baby is smuggled away by the witches and is brought up by Mr & Mrs Vitoller in a travelling theatre company. It is then up to the witches to weave their magic and save the Kingdom from destruction.
