In his fourth solo stand-up show, Chris asks all of the most important questions. Can you get along with someone that you only mostly agree with? Can nuance survive in an age of extremes? Does using AI make someone evil? And most importantly, what kind of food should be served at a gay sauna?
There’s only one thing that Chris knows for sure - that he doesn’t know what the right answers are. 88% is an attempt to tell the raw, honest truth about how he lives his life as opposed to how the public thinks he behaves. From vulnerable to sublime, this brand-new hour expresses how Chris sees the world in only the way that Chris can express it.
If he looks familiar, it’s probably because you may have seen him as Jerry on Superstore (Netflix), Atypical (Netflix), a myriad of shows on Dropout including his comedy special Chris Grace: As Scarlett Johansson, Stumptown (ABC), The Residence (Netflix) and This Is Us (NBC).
He hasn’t missed a Fringe since 2012 and sold out his first and second solo runs, Chris Grace: As Scarlett Johansson and Sardines (A Comedy About Death) before last year’s tour de force 27 Hours, where he created and performed a new hourlong show every day of the festival. Because, you know, the Fringe is just not challenging enough.
In the last year, Chris has performed his Scarlett Johansson show at Portland Center Stage and the Kennedy Center in DC, and Sardines at the Huntington Theater in Boston, all to rave reviews.
